Ross Payn

Structural and Cranial Osteopath.

Ross trained at the UK's leading osteopathic college, The British School of Osteopathy, graduating in 2000. Through this education he gained a strong grounding in clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis. This means as a primary health worker he is qualified to assess, diagnose and treat your condition.  Should something more serious be suspected he can refer you for X-Ray, Ultrasound imaging or to the appropriate practitioner.

Over the last 20 years, Ross has developed his private practice as well as spending 6 years lecturing on the Master of Osteopathy course at Unitec, progressing to the role of external examiner.

For the last 12 years, Ross has undertaken post-graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy.  He has also developed a strong yoga practice which has supported and enhanced his knowledge of posture and exercise.

Ross has had extensive experience treating a variety of conditions: from helping in rehabilitation after severe spinal injury; sports injury; to the more day-to-day aches and sprains of every day life.  He also works with clients through their pregnancy and after birth, and provides treatment for babies and children.

Ross fell in love with the Matakana Coast and moved here 10 years ago. He began working from his home in Matheson's Bay initially, before joining BodyRe in Matakana.

Ross is a registered ACC treatment provider.  There is no need for you to visit your GP first, Ross can complete all necessary paper work during your consultation.
